Justin French is the owner/operator of Sun Solutions NV based in Spring Creek. Started in 2011, we specialize in off-grid, remote power systems and in solar-direct water pumping systems. We service all of Northern Nevada and are a self-contained solar company meaning that we can handle everything from evaluation, custom design, sales, and full installation of new systems. We also troubleshoot any existing solar system in our area; large or small.
Justin was born and raised in
Northern Nevada. He moved to Montana to complete an engineering degree and then spent a
dozen years in the coal mining industry in Wyoming. He has held a wide variety of positions in the fields of engineering, blasting, and operations management. While in Wyoming, he also completed the requirements for registration as a professional engineer.
After leaving the mining industry, he continued his education focusing on renewable energy
design and installation. His first projects were in
grid-tied, residential, solar systems as well as remote, solar-direct, water pumping
systems. As his solar resume grew, he began receiving calls to troubleshoot remote power and off-grid systems not initially designed by Sun Solutions.
Existing system troubleshooting, water systems, and off-grid systems have now become his bread-and-butter.
Sun Solutions often works with colleagues from Boss Tanks and Stock
Water, Inc. in order to best serve you when the scope of the project overlaps our
individual specialties. We have intentionally kept Sun Solutions small to ensure that
you receive the highest quality workmanship and to keep the
costs under control throughout changing seasons and workloads.
